Nostromics Science Educator Friends
We personally know and trust these longtime friends of ours who are science educators or scholars:
- Anna Maria Lombardi - An astronomy and science historian who is a leading Italian Kepler expert. She wrote a scientific biography of Kepler and an Italian edition of his work Somnium. Most of her writings are in Italian, but we are bugging her to publish more in English.
- Massimo Mogi Vicentini - A freelance graphic designer producing 3D, videos and models for science teaching and presentation. He got a Non Interactive Media - Honorable Mention at the 2005 Science & Engineering Visualization Challenge by Science Magazine and NSF, and the Best Video Award - Educational Videos for the Web at Vedere la Scienza 2007 - International Scientific TV, Film and AV Media Festival. Free downloads at his web site: 3D science videos and animations. Mogi is a sort of Renaissance man who builds physical models at his machine shop and virtual ones with 3D software.
